Ken goes golfing: Shane Warne dons matchy matchy ensemble for a round

His transformation from a rough and ready sports star to a smartly dressed metrosexual man has certainly been noticed.



And now it seems just like a Ken doll he has a polished look well-suited to every occasion.



Shane,41, was seen in London looking every inch the colour coordinated golfer.

The cricketer was sporting camel coloured trousers, a matching vest and a navy polo shirt which he teamed with a pair of aviators for a primed and polished look.



And just like any image-conscious celebrity he was tweeting what he had eaten earlier today worrying that his excess might lead to a weight gain.

He later joked: ‘Now drinking red wine At function - ooopppsss hope jeans still fit tomorrow hahahahah...’(sic)

And while his glamourous girlfriend Elizabeth Hurley has been credited with his recent image change his matchy-matchy look was without her help, as she is filming Gossip Girl in New York.



The couple who indulged in a series of public displays of affection at Edgbaston cricket ground earlier in the week have spoke of their longing for one another on their favourite social network.

In fact, the model cosied up to her cricketer beau Shane Warne in a very public display of affection at Edgbaston yesterday.



Hurley and Warne were snapped sharing a kiss on the pitch at the cricket ground in Birmingham yesterday.



The couple couldn't contain their affection as they left the ground after the third match of the four-match Test series in which England beat India to take a 3-0 lead.



Clearly delighted at the home win, Liz showed her happiness with a smacker for her Australian, who was commentating on the match for Sky Sports.



And she took to her Twitter page a few hours before to write: 'Standing on the pitch watching SW spouting pearls of wisdom for Sky.....loving it. Bit nippy though.'

The actress, 45, has been slammed in recent weeks for 'emasculating' Warne in a slim, shiny-faced metrosexual.



But according to her friends, the overly-groomed new Warne is all his doing and Liz is starting to get fed up with it.



According to the Sunday Mirror, Liz was encouraging at the start and was pleased at his weight loss and that he wanted to take better care of himself.

But she has told her pals that she is now getting sick of him constantly asking her for beauty tips - and fears it's getting out of control.



A friend told the paper: 'He’s taking advice on moisturisers and skin peels and researching juicing diets.

'Liz doesn’t want to lose the man she’s fallen in love with but all the girly chat is getting a little tiresome. Her friends are ¬finding it all highly amusing.



'Liz is still head over heels about Shane. She just wants him to calm down a little.'

Shaving off the weight: Shane Warne, aka Mr Elizabeth Hurley, has shed two stone and is now almost unrecognisable


Since he was bowled over by Elizabeth Hurley, his slick new look has been the subject of much speculation.

Now it appears Shane Warne is not just slick, but also most definitely sleek.

The Australian cricketer cut an extraordinarily slim figure as he emerged from Miss Hurley’s West London home.


He revealed he has shed two stone in four months, but denies his glamorous girlfriend – notorious for her own strict fitness regime – is behind his image makeover.

The 41-year-old said he had embarked on a training programme off his own back, writing on Twitter: ‘I have always taken pride in my appearance and an attack on EH is unfair.

'I’m proud of how I look and worked my butt off for 4 months.’

Whatever his motivation, he certainly appeared to have worked up a sweat when he was spotted this week, visibly glistening in the English heat.

Spin bowler Warne retired from first-class cricket in 2008.

He began dating actress and model Miss Hurley, 46, last year following her split from estranged husband Arun Nayar.
