Not on Big Brother then: Katie Price returns to Marbella with Leandro Penna - and this time she's brought the family

The rumour mill has been going into overdrive with suggestions that Katie Price will be going into the Celebrity Big Brother house when the show returns on Thursday.



But quite aside from the lady herself dismissing such speculation on Twitter, the fact she is out of the country should put an end to those whispers.



For Katie has returned to Marbella - where she enjoyed a romantic break with boyfriend Leandro Penna in May - and this time she has taken her children along too.

The 33-year-old was spotted wearing a colourful striped maxi dress, big gold bangles and sunglasses as she took daughter Princess for a shopping trip in the Spanish resort.



And she clearly had her hands full, carrying both the four-year-old and an oversized bright green bag as she made her way to the car.



There was no sign of Leandro on their outing - although the 25-year-old model has joined them on the trip, and was seen clutching a bottle of water and wearing headphones as he went for a run.

Meanwhile Katie has taken to Twitter to personally deny the rumours that she is set to enter the Celebrity Big Brother house.



'I PROMISE everyone I AM NOT doing Big Brother I'm away with my family and I'm signed to Sky Living so impossible,' she tweeted.



Clearly the message did not get through to everybody, as she later returned to say, 'People should know I don't lie so I'm telling you again I'm not doing Big Brother so drop it.'

TOWIE star Amy Childs, actress Tara Reid, wacky pop twins Jedward, Speaker's wife Sally Bercow and Kerry Katona and her mother Sue are among those who are rumoured to taking part in Celebrity Big Brother, which has moved to Five after Channel 4 dropped the show in 2010.



Katie and Leandro previously holidayed in Marbella earlier this year when she showed off a tattoo marking the date they met - which reads 'Leo 27-02-11'.



The pair struck up a whirlwind romance after meeting on that date at Elton John's post-Oscars party shortly after she separated from ex-husband Alex Reid.

Katie recently revealed that despite her rocky love life - which has seen both her marriages to Peter Andre and Reid end in divorce - she is happy with the life she has now.



She said: 'These things happen. There are so many people who i know who aren’t in the industry who have the same dramas as me but because I'm in the public eye it's well documented.



'I have no regrets about any men or any paths I have taken. I’m laughing, I’ve got everything i want in life so it’s good!'

He has been gushing about how happy he is with his new girlfriend Chantelle Houghton and the couple have said they are in love and planning to move in together.



But in a shocking interview Alex Reid has revealed he still loves Katie Price, who called off their marriage at the start of this year.



Speaking to Best magazine the cage fighter said: ‘I still love her, even though, recently she said she didn’t love me.’

Alex also gave a cryptic comment suggesting a possible future with his estranged wife.



He said: ‘Katie and I aren’t divorced yet. I wouldn’t go back but I’d go forward with someone. Read that how you want.’



Meanwhile glamour model turned businesswoman Katie is rarely seen without her toyboy boyfriend Leandro Penna, who she met shortly after splitting from Alex.

And in June the mother-of-three dealt Alex a cruel blow by leaving him off a list of her ‘true loves’ despite including her ex-husband Peter Andre and her current Argentine beau.



Despite leaving him off the list of her true loves, the 33-year-old former model told OK! Magazine of Reid: ‘Obviously I felt like I loved him at the time or I wouldn’t have done it and I wish him well.



Alex’s declaration of love for his estranged wife may come as a shock to his current girlfriend Chantelle.



The couple, who both won their respective Celebrity Big Brother shows, have been gushing about the other at every opportunity.

'We trust each other. I was very nervous when I first met Chantelle, because my heart was still broken, but she’s mended it.'



And Chantelle added: 'I just love being around him. He makes me feel really good about myself.

But at the start of the year things were a very different story for Alex Reid as he was trying to come to terms with the breakdown of his marriage to Katie Price.



Speaking about her son, who she calls Zander, she said: ‘He’s tough on the outside and squidgy on the inside.’



‘When Alex and Katie broke up in January this year and he came home again it was awful to see him so upset.



‘It was hard hearing him cry, as he doesn’t like to show emotion in public. I’d hear him sobbing in his bedroom.’



She added: ‘I don’t miss Katie, I didn’t form a strong bond.’

Let the models have a go! Katie Price insists on walking the catwalk to debut her new collection

She's already one of the most photographed women in Britain - so surely Katie Price could have let the models have the limelight just this once.

But 33-year-old took centre stage while launching her new collection from her fashion line Day 22 today.

As well as a question-and-answer session with the audience, the glamour model strutted the catwalk alongside her models to show off the clothes.


And while the girls can be seen in tracksuits and more casual attire, Katie opted for a tight-fitting leopard print dress.

The collection, called SS12, was on show at the Pure London trade exhibition, in the young fashion section, Pure Spirit in Earls Court.

Katie has collaborated with British designer Lamis Khamis,
Earlier she tweeted her excitement about the upcoming show.

'On way to earls court 2 for my day 22 wooo hooo,' she said, before adding: 'so exciting'.

And when all the fun was over, she treated her children to a feast at McDonalds.

She tweeted: 'Finished on way home stopping at mac Ds yummie excited kids home later gonna squeeze so much love into them with cuddles.'

The website describes the collection as: 'Bright girly tones, beautiful soft fleece fabrics, vibrant prints, motifs and styles that are comfortable'.

It adds: 'Day 22 has been designed to appeal to a board range of females. The range is fresh and forever changing in shapes with new limited edition designs added every month.'

Katie launched the label in February. She was seen promoting the brand last week, wearing a bright pink tracksuit from the collection while hitting the streets of Brighton with her mother Amy.

Talking about the range recently, Katie said: 'I have really enjoyed developing this brand with Lamis.

'We named it Day 22 as on the 22nd of each month we will be adding new pieces to the collection including clothes, bags, sunglasses and shoes.'

Blonde ambition: Despite saying recently that she preferred her hair dark, Katie seemed prepared to make as much of her gigantic golden locks as possible


No-one ever expected Katie Price to shy away from the limelight at what she hoped would be a 'record breaking' book signing.

And given her trend for traffic-stopping attire on these occasions, fans were doubtless eager to see what the glamour model would turn up in for her latest effort, Comeback Girl.

It's safe to say that Katie didn't disappoint. Wearing a golden superhero-style catsuit inscribed with lines from her new book, and a belt made out of miniature versions of the cover, subtlety was not the order of the day.


The sparkly bra, heavy make-up and trademark gigantic hair added to the show and perhaps even heart stopping look.

Katie pulled out all the stops to ensure she bagged the 1,952 signatures she needed to break the current record for book signings in one sitting currently held by former world chess champion, Anatoli Karpov, who signed 1951 copies of his book within 8 hours in 2006.

Writing on her official site, Katie promised: 'Everyone who attends the event will be able to have their name included in the acknowledgements for my next novel when it comes out in October. And they will also receive an exclusive woven wristband to mark their participation on the day.'

Possibly Katie feared even these temptations wouldn't prove sufficient, adding a strange further incentive: 'Plus, one lucky person will be randomly picked to appear in the book as a character. Just think how jealous your friends would be!'

To add to the anticipation, Katie tweeted shortly before the signing: 'Woo hoo so excited about my signing! Leaving soon just trying to squeeze in my cat suit ha ha xx'

Sadly, it was not meant to be as Liz Smith, Records Manager at Guinness World Records, said: 'Unfortunately on this occasion Katie did not successfully achieve a new record, but we hope to welcome her for another record attempt in the future..'

'My fans really are the best and it was great so many of them came out to try and help me do this. Woohoo! The Comeback Girl is already at number 1!'

Katie has a history of wearing controversial outfits for her book signings, notably her children's book Mermaids and Pirates, for which she dressed up as an actual mermaid.

She has recently been criticised for her unkind revelation that she 'never loved' her husband Alex Reid, from whom she is now separated.

However despite appearances (and a long history of post-divorce animosity) it seems things are more settled between Katie and her other ex Peter Andre.

Andre met Katie's current boyfriend Leandro Penna when all three of them turned up to see Katie and Peter's son Junior take part in his school sport's day.

Andre reportedly shook Leanro's hand, later saying that he 'seemed like a very nice man'.

Wam Bam, thank you ma'am! Alex Reid celebrates his 36th birthday with girlfriend Chantelle at sexy burlesque club

It was a match made in D-list heaven.

And if his birthday celebrations are anything to go by, it seems cage fighter Alex Reid's relationship with Big Brother star Chantelle Houghton remains as strong (and steamy) as ever.

It looked like the honeymoon stage still wasn't over as the smitten reality duo attended the Wam Bam Club burlesque show at Cafe de Paris in Piccadilly Circus on Saturday night.


The outing was part of a romantic weekend for the couple organised by Chantelle, who according to Alex's Twitter booked the couple in to 'a swanky hotel in the westend' [sic] for the celebrations.

Alex clearly enjoyed himself, keeping fans updated as he tweeted later in the evening:

'Wicked evening @WamBamClub Cafe de Paris,celebrating my birthday with @chantellehought thanks 4all my pressies. '

The couple became cosier as the night wore on, and were spotted closing in for a secret kiss outside in the early hours of the morning.

Chantelle was very protective of her new man, sticking nearby all evening even as she chatted to other guests.

The Wam Bam Club offers burlesque, cabaret and magic shows, which can be enjoyed over a three course meal with an after party to follow.

Alex is currently adhering to a strict training regimen of no carbs (including alcohol), which we can presume he relaxed for the evening.

There was no question that his companion was enjoying a tipple or two, as Chantelle looked increasingly merry as the evening wore on.

It's likely that Chantelle will have encouraged her beau to follow suit, since she's revealed that she's not overly keen on Alex's career choice.

Talking to OK! magazine earlier this week, Chantelle admitted:

'He's fighting soon and I think I'll get upset. I want to support him, but it won't be easy to watch.'

The couple seemed unable to take their hands off each other during their OK! photo shoot. When asked if they talk a lot, Alex replied: 'That's a little bit soon eh?'

He elaborated: 'It's not just physical. Well, it is. She's hot! What man wouldn't? I can't keep my hands off her! What the nation finds attractive, I find attractive.'

By way of reassurance that his attraction wasn't just skin deep, he added:

'It's her inner beauty which is incredible.'

Alex credits Chantelle with helping to get over his split with glamour model Katie Price (who he is still technically married to). He said:

'You meet someone sexy and nice, and the pain fades.'

Despite only meeting in April, both seemed confident that marriage could be on the cards. When put to them directly, Chantelle giggled as she looked for reassurance from Alex, who grinned 'Of course!'.

The affectionate pair certainly have all the hallmarks of a long-term couple. Alex even has a nickname for Chantelle: 'Chantelle Lace', inspired by the Jerry Lee Lewis song Chantilly Lace.
