Goldenbald? David Beckham's latest look isn't a patch on the others

By Daily Mail Reporter

X marks the spot: David Beckham's neck tattoo points in the direction of his apparent bald patch

We've seen him with centre partings, crew cuts, ponytails, cornrows and even a Mohawk.

But David Beckham’s many admirers are unlikely to copy what seems to be his latest style – the bald patch.

It could of course have been a trick of the light, but the 36-year-old soccer star nicknamed Goldenballs seemed to have a chink in his tonsorial armour as he carried his six-week-old daughter Harper into a Los Angeles restaurant.

Beckham, who at one time had a multi-million-pound sponsorship deal with Brylcreem, still chooses to grease back his hair.

A life in hairstyles: Clockwise from top left, the fresh-faced teenager with centre parting in 1995; England's Captain Mohawk in 2001 and his luxuriant blond locks in 2003, running wild and tamed into a ponytail

Unfortunately, this did little to conceal the area of skin apparently visible around the crown.

In a sketch for Comic Relief last year alongside comedian James Corden, Beckham hinted that all was not well in the hair department.

As Corden pretended to style his thatch, he said: ‘I’m losing it a little bit there.’

Yesterday, award-winning hairdresser Karine Jackson said: ‘As a woman I love to look at David Beckham’s hair and I was a bit shocked to see this.

Mother's pride: David and Victoria were taking their six-week-old daughter Harper to a Los Angeles restaurant

The couple were accompanied to the restaurant by celebrity chef Gordon Ramsey and his family

‘Certainly, he has been thinning over the last ten years. However, we have seen photographs of him in the ocean recently and if he was going bald you would have noticed it before.

‘Indeed, a particular bald patch is very rare in male pattern baldness so it could be a trick of the light.

'Alternatively, it could be a temporary loss caused by, for example, bruising from a football match.’

If Beckham is going bald, perhaps he should seek advice from his friend Gordon Ramsay, who recently invested £30,000 in a hair transplant.

The celebrity chef joined Beckham surfing over the weekend at Malibu in California, where the former England captain and his family are renting Steven Spielberg’s beach house for the summer at £93,000 a month.

The men were joined on the beach by Beckham’s sons Romeo, eight, and six-year-old Cruz, and Ramsay’s wife Tana.

Looking forward to retirement then? David Beckham displays bulging stomach, before showing off washboard abs in the surf

By SARAH FITZMAURICE

Big belly Beckham: David Beckham showed off a protruding stomach in a black T-shirt as he spent a day at the beach with his sons in Malibu yesterday

He might have an impressively toned body but last week David Beckham donned a T-shirt that somehow managed to make him look a little thick around the waist.

And it seems the footballer quite likes the look, and he was seen recreating it in a black ensemble yesterday.

David, who will no doubt be winding down his football career in the coming years, tried on a beer belly for size, perhaps looking forward to retirement.

Another one on the way? David pushed his stomach out so far that it rivaled that of wife Victoria's when she was pregnant with their daughter Harper

The father-of-four proudly pushed out his stomach so far that it rivaled that of Victoria's shortly before she gave birth to their daughter Harper.

And David appeared to appreciate his own joke as he rubbed his hands over his bulging stomach smiling to himself.

But later as he took to the surf with his children the footballer showed off his washboard abs as well as his latest style statement.

The footballer has been performing a special hat trick of late, donning a cap for his daily surf sessions.

Hat trick: David Beckham has been making quite a style statement in the water recently taking to the sea in a series of baseball caps

But David decided to keep his grey baseball cap on, which he turned backwards for a curious water look.

It appears the L.A. Galaxy star has gotten into the habit of wearing head gear in the water.

He has also been seen sporting black, navy and blue versions of the cap while working the water.

Hat-trick: The father-of-four regularly goes into the water with a baseball cap on his head, sporting grey on Thursday and a blue and black version in recent weeks

David has been spending plenty of time in the sea with his sons, Brooklyn and Romeo making sure they all spend quality boy time together given the new arrival in their household.

On Thursday Cruz didn't venture into the water, he was watching from the rocks, but still got plenty of attention from his father who was seen giving him a tender kiss as they stood together out of the water.

The footballer showed off his impressive abs, which strangely appeared less toned the day before as he played with his boys in a green T-shirt, which gave him the appearance of having a paunch.

Surf's up: The father-of-four just can't seem to get enough of bodyboarding and is seen almost daily taking to the water with his boys

Line up: David and his sons and their friends were all enjoying the waves in Malibu as they lined up to ride one together

Just ab-ulous: David showed off his impressive stomach muscles in a pair of white board shorts. Earlier in the week he wore a green T-shirt which gave him the appearance of having a paunch

Run out of garage space, Becks? David Beckham is in seventh heaven as he adds customised Ferrari to his car collection

By DAILY MAIL REPORTER

Hot wheels: David Beckham has a new car parked up on the driveway of his rent Malibu home, a stunning Ferrari 612 Scaglietti

It seems baby Harper Seven isn't the only new addition to the Beckham household - with this $300,000 Ferrari parked in the driveway of the family's Malibu summer beach house.

The black Ferrari 612 Scaglietti, complete with a customised number '7' logo, appears to be the latest motor in David and Victoria Beckham's collection of luxury cars.

Of course the number seven holds a special meaning for LA Galaxy star David - not only is it his daughter's middle name, but it is also his shirt number from his Manchester United days.

Customised: The sportsman has had a No. 7 logo added to the shiny black motor, a reference to his daughter Harper's middle name and his shirt number from his Manchester United days

The car was spotted taking pride of place in the driveway of the couple's rented Malibu mansion.

With a top speed of 196mph, it can accelerate from 0-60mph in precisely 4.2 seconds.

And without any customisation, the Italian motor costs in the region of $250,000 brand new.

Others in his collection include a customised black Escalade, a giant off-road Jeep, a BMW, Lamborghini, Aston Martin, Porsche as well as several motorbikes.

'We hope to have one more child,' reveals David Beckham as he piggybacks his son through choppy waters on boys' day out

By Daily Mail Reporter

Ready, son?: David Beckham lifts son Brooklyn on his back as a large wave rolls towards them in the ocean at Malibu yesterday

David Beckham has revealed he and wife Victoria aren't done with having children and would like one more baby.

The LA Galaxy star, 36, and wife Victoria became parents for the fourth time when baby daughter Harper was born earlier this month.

The couple also have three sons - Brooklyn, 12, Romeo, eight, and Cruz, six - and he was recently asked if they want another baby.

He said: 'We've always said we'd love a big family and five was a number. If we're lucky enough, then we hope to have one more.'

David yesterday left his wife and daughter to bond as he took his boys for a swim in the surf near their new rented home in Malibu.

At one point the statuesque midfielder gave his eldest boy a piggy back - one that hoisted his son well above a fierce wave.

The pair have enjoyed several boogie-board sessions in the surf since the family moved into the $150,000 a month house, which is owned by director Steven Spielberg.

The Beckhams' youngest son Cruz could be seen watching the action enviously from the beach, where he was safely away from any marine-based danger.

Father and son time: The boys have been working on their boogie-board skills

Let me have a go!: Little Cruz is still too small to join in the potentially dangerous activity

Though it was clear to see from the look on the young scamp's face that he'll be out as soon as he is able, Romeo, who is following his mother's footsteps in the fashion stakes, seemed happier to stay on dry land.

The Beckham boys were joined by friends for the afternoon of fun, though mummy Victoria was resting at home with daughter Harper Seven, who was born on July 10.

David must be thankful to have three boys to play rough and tumble with, given that he said recently that he's learning to be more 'delicate' with his newborn daughter.

'Having a daughter is a whole new thing... you have to be a lot more delicate with girls than with boys and I'm not used to that.

'So it's a whole new experience but it's an amazing experience,' he said in a video post on his Facebook page.

He's clearly smitten with the first female child in his family, and couldn't resist taking an intimate photograph of his wife and daughter as they slept.

Proud: David smiles as Brooklyn rides on the crest of a wave

Dry land: Romeo stayed out of the ocean, but spent time with his father when the football star dried up to enjoy a beer

He also posted the touching picture on Facebook, gushing, 'I took this picture of my two girls sleeping...'

His fashion designer wife posted a similar snap on her Twitter page with the caption, 'Daddy's little girl!'

In the shot, David is shown giving an eskimo kiss to his little girl, who is wrapped up in a blanket and wearing a tiny hat.

If more proof is needed that he's besotted, he's also had her name stitched on to his pink football boots; pink to honour his 'girl', of course.

Carve her name with pride! David Beckham has new inking on his neck in tribute to baby daughter Harper Seven

By Jody Thompson and Sara Nathan

-Football legend reveals that he and Victoria will try for one more baby
-Proud father says Harper Seven already has an extensive fashion wardrobe - just like her mother

Love you tattoo much: David Beckham gave a tantalising glimpse of his new tattoo dedicated to new daughter Harper Seven in an interview for his club LA Galaxy this week

He's famously already got body art dedicated to his wife Victoria and sons Brooklyn, Romeo and Cruz - so it was only a matter of time before David Beckham got a new inscription to mark the birth of daughter Harper Seven.

The couple’s first baby girl was born earlier this month and proud father David gave a teasing glimpse of the new inking on his neck this week during a television interview for his club LA Galaxy.

The new design appears to be of curled lettering, suggesting he has had Harper Seven's name inscribed in a fancy font.

The inking sits just above his tattoo of Jesus being carried by three cherubs, which are meant to symbolise sons Brooklyn, 12, Romeo, eight and Cruz, six.

Beckham said at the time: ‘It’s Jesus being carried by three cherubs and obviously the cherubs are my boys and so my thought of it is that at some point my boys are going to need to look after me and that’s what they’re doing in the picture. It means a lot.’

The 36-year-old LA Galaxy star is known for his array of tattoos, many of which are dedicated to his family.

As well as the cherubs David already has the names of his three boys and an inscription of Victoria’s name written in Hindi.

He also a six-inch tattoo of Victoria as an angel, accompanied with the words ‘til death do us part.’

David has previously said his tattoos are a way of expressing how he’s feeling, explaining: ‘Most of my tattoos are memories and things that mean things to me.

‘There's not one tattoo that I've got on me that doesn't mean something.’

The last time David went under the needle was in February, when he had the Jesus and the three cherubs drawn into his skin.

David also posted a video on Facebook explaining why he had the tattoo and what it represented.

New ink: David Beckaham visited LA tattoo artist Mark Mahoney for his latest piece of body art

Divine inspiration: The new tattoo features a depiction of Jesus being pulled up by three angels

That tattoo was the handy work of one of LA’s biggest tattoo artists, Mark Mahoney, who has worked on a long list of famous names who include Johnny Depp, Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie and it's likely that the Harper Seven inking was courtesy of his hand too.

David is just another in a long line of celebrities who have only good words to say about Mark. He added: ‘He’s not a tattooist who goes on and does TV programmes. He’s low key and stays out of things and is very talented. ‘

Mahoney works in West Hollywood at the Shamrock Social Club on The Sunset Strip and says he prides himself on making his customer’s experiences as memorable as possible.

‘It’s called the Shamrock Social Club, not the Shamrock anti-social Club. People come here to relax and have a good time. People always remember the night they got tattooed. That’s one of the things you always remember in life, so I wanted to make that as memorable and as nice an experience as it ever could be.’

David first posted a picture of Mahoney working on his new tattoo back in December of last year. He Tweeted: ‘I want to let you all in on something. Just had a new tattoo done by the legendary Mark Mahoney.’

He added: ‘I had it done 3 months ago, before I left LA. I don’t plan on having a tattoo, but just sometimes I wake up with an idea or an image of what I would like on me.

‘It’s my way of expressing the way I’m feeling. Most of my tattoos are memories or things that mean a lot to me.

‘It was an 8-hour session which lasted until about 3 o’clock in the morning. I then went back a few weeks later and we did another 4 hours. It’s really is amazing.’

Masterpiece: The tattoo took 12 hours in total

David has also revealed that his new baby daughter is already a stylista in the making.

The Beckhams’ first little girl already has a growing collection of fashionable garments, according to her proud father.

Mother Victoria, 37, has her own fashion range that has proved a big hit with celebrities, and yesterday her footballer father David revealed that baby Harper’s wardrobe was already packed.

Speaking about the two-week old baby girl, the former England captain, 36, said: ‘Everything Victoria’s put on her so far looks amazing, she's got a great wardrobe already.

‘My wife is going to definitely take care of that.’

And even though Victoria had to have a fourth caesarean, Beckham said the couple were still keen for ‘one more’ baby.

Speaking in a post-match interview, the LA Galaxy footballer said the couple would like to complete a five-a-side 'Team Beckham'.

He said: ‘Are we done now or will we see any more in the future? We'd like one more.

‘We've always said we'd love a big family and five was the number. If we're lucky enough, then we hope to have one more.

He added: 'Victoria's doing amazingly well. So we'll see.'

When asked how Harper Seven's older brothers were liking the family's newest addition, Beckham replied: ‘All the boys won't leave her alone, which is amazing.’

Despite currently working away from home, Beckham said he has been Skyping with Harper, adding: ‘I can't wait to get home to see her and my boys and my wife.

‘It's different having a little girl. She's elegant. She sleeps in an elegant position.’

As for her genes, it appears Harper takes after mum Victoria.

'She's a mixture of all three of the boys actually. She's got Victoria's nose thankfully,' Beckham said.
