Parenting? It's a walk in the park: Angelina Jolie takes four of her six children for a day out while father Brad is at hard at work

By Marcus Barnes

They're probably quite a handful so you have to give Angelina Jolie some brownie points for managing to keep a handle on her brood of children.

The Hollywood actress, 37, took four of her six offspring to a park in Glasgow for some play time while their father Brad Pitt continued work on his new movie World War Z.

Angelina Jolie was accompanied by a female who appeared to be a nanny as well as a male associate likely to be a bodyguard.

Parklife!: Angelina Jolie holds Vivien in her arms while Zahara stands next to a lady thought to be one of the Jolie-Pitt's nannies as they spent a day out in Glasgow

Back to nature: (l-r) Vivien, Shiloh, Knox and Zhara enjoy a day out in the greenery of a park in Scotland

The actress took Zahara, six, Shiloh, five, and twins Vivien and Knox, three, for a spot of fun and games in the grassy area - perhaps because they grew a little restless while at their hotel.

Notably absent from the pictures are Pax and Maddox, the elder boys, who may well have opted out of the day trip to spend time playing computer games or something a little more mature.

Angelina's outfit was par for the course for the actress, wearing her much favoured colour black from top to toe.

Her outfit consisted of a black sweater, black jeans and black knee-high Wellington style boots.

Fenced off: The children give each other the runaround

You're it!: Shiloh gives chase to Knox during the day out with their mother Angelina Jolie

Assistance: While Angelina is no doubt a capable mother, with six children to care for it's unsurprising that she has a nanny to help out

Her female companion wore a black and white striped pullover with blue jeans and black UGG boots.

Meanwhile the children were suitably dressed for the lukewarm temperatures in the Scottish city, where it is currently 17 degrees centigrade.

Zahara was dressed in a black duffle coat with a fur-lined hood - underneath she had a navy top, black jeans and colourful, patterned wellies.

Shiloh wore a red zip up fleece with a striped blue over a white top, khaki coloured trousers and traditional green wellies.

Come on! Zahara appears to shout during the childrens' mini adventure

Leading the way: Shiloh marches back to her mother, thumb in mouth, with Knox and Zahara following right behind

Meanwhile the twins Know and Vivien were wrapped up in their own individual outfits - Vivien in a pink top, with black jeans and matching pink boots.

Knox on the other hand had a duffle coat on similar to Zahara's with beige bottoms and green boots covered with a colourful pattern.

The family are in Scotland where father Brad Pitt is shooting scenes for his latest movie project World War Z.

Family day out: Angelina took four of her six children to the park - but Maddox and Pax were missing, perhaps preferring to stay at their temporary accommodation

And the film has become a big event in Glasgow with whole districts being shut off while the crew transform the Scottish city into Philadelphia.

Today a whole area of the city was shut down as the action scenes began to take shape.

A stunt involving a dustbin truck smashing through rows of traffic was shot in the centre of Glasgow, shutting down the whole road were the scene took place.

Yesterday Brad, 47, was seen taking a break from filming accompanied by the pretty brunette who is likely to be a set manager.

Of course, his partner Angelina Jolie will have little to worry about - the dynamic between the actor and his on-set companion is nothing more than a professional working relationship.

Brunette beauty: Brad Pitt and the assistant are pictured during a break from filming on the set of his new film World War Z in Glasgow

A threat?: How will Angelina Jolie react to Brad's close working relationship with the pretty lady?

However her beauty could well cause a slight bit of jealousy on Angelina's part, which is only natural for any man or woman whose partner works closely with an attractive member of the opposite sex.

Glasgow is the latest city to undergo an amazing transformation thanks to the new zombie thriller.

Film staff have so far managed to transform Valletta, in Malta, and Falmouth, in Cornwall, into a world dealing with the aftermath of a global zombie war for the same film.

And this week these post-apocalyptic scenes have come to Glasgow, as Brad Pitt and his crew bring the living dead to the Scottish city.

Crash! Bang! Wallop!: A dustbin truck smashes through staionary traffic in Glasgow as action scenes from World War Z are shot

Its city centre has been transformed into Philadelphia for scenes for the actor's upcoming movie World War Z. It's looking good, everyone! Brad Pitt talks to crew members as he arrives on set in Glasgow to start filming scenes for World War Z

And Brad, 47, was right in the thick of it all as he chatted to his crew and watched as the streets were turned into the U.S. city.

Transformed: Glasgow has undergone a complete makeover to look like Philadelphia where there movie is set

Cochrane Street has been renamed John F Kennedy Boulevard and American road signs and street names were put up while yellow taxi cabs and white police cars lined the streets as Philadelphia came to life.

Glasgow was chosen to double as the Pennsylvanian city because of the huge similarities between them including the architecture, wide roads and grid layout of the cities.

Local people have been recruited as zombie extras and Glasgow City Council said the production will involve almost 1,200 people and the impact on local economy is expected to be more than £2 million.

All aboard the Brangelina Express! Couple charter an entire train to take them and family from London to Glasgow

By GEORGINA LITTLEJOHN

Scotland bound: Angelina Jolie, Brad Pitt and their children arrive at Euston station to board their chartered train to Glasgow

They've been more than happy to mingle with the general public at the theatre and while out shopping.

But Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie decided that their family's five hour journey to Scotland should be done away from prying eyes and autograph hunters.

And they clearly decided that taking over a first class carriage wasn't going to be enough for their brood - so they chartered the entire train instead.

Staying close: Zahara follows her father out of the car as they arrive at the station

The A-list couple and their six children were snapped arriving at Euston station this morning in a large black people carrier and surrounded by bodyguards.

They were then taken to their Virgin train and got comfortable for the long journey to Scotland, where Brad is set to film scenes for his new film World War Z.

Is this one ours? Angelina and Brad make their way to their rented train

A spokeswoman for Virgin Trains confirmed to Mail Online that the couple had chartered a train for their trip to Glasgow.

She wouldn't reveal prices and said each client would be charged on their individual needs.

I'm with Mummy: Maddox peers round Angelina as she gathers the children's things for the journey

We all set? Angelina does a final head count before setting off for the train

She added: 'As far as I am aware, Brad and Angelina hired the whole train. It is a bespoke service so prices would vary on the individual, people have different needs from station requirements to catering.'

Brad, 47, and Angelina, 36, have been staying in Richmond while Brad shoots his film and has been down in Falmouth, Cornwall filming scenes on a ship.

Glasgow USA: Yellow taxi cabs line the streets of the city as it becomes a film set for Brad's new movie World War Z

The family have been to the theatre in London twice during their stay and hanging out in Richmond, where they visited a family-run toy shop.

Speaking to MailOnline, Karen Khatchik, who runs the store with her husband and sister-in-law, said: 'She (Angelina) bought lots of small items like craft-making, stickers, tattoos, they were things for a trip they have planned.'

Remember to drive on the right side: An American car comes to a stop in the middle of the street

New traffic laws: UK street signs are replaced with US ones as they set is built

Khatchik could mean today's trip to Glasgow and the items the actress bought would certainly keep the children amused.

Brad's latest film is a post-apocalyptic horror film based on the novel of the same name by Max Brooks.

Supporting local businesses: Angelina and her daughters Zahara and Shiloh shun Hamleys for a family run toy shop in Richmond

Brad plays Brooks who scours the world collecting the stories and experiences of those who have survived ten years after the human victory over the world wide zombie epidemic.

Marc Forster, who directed Bond classic Quantum Of Solace, is the man behind the lens, while Mireille Enos, who plays leading lady Sarah Linden in The Killing, will play Brad's wife.

Settling in to life in Richmond: Angelina Jolie takes Shiloh and Zahara to their favourite local toy shop

By DAILY MAIL REPORTER

Their local toy shop: Angelina Jolie and her girls Zahara and Shiloh visited their local toy shop in Richmond, one they visited two weeks ago

They have been taking in the sights and sounds of London and given their bank balance Hollywood A-listers Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt could spoil their brood rotten.

But today the Salt actress decided to take her actress to a family-run toyshop in Richmond, one she visited two weeks ago.

Angelina, 36, went on a low-key shopping spree with two of her daughters Shiloh, five, and Zahara, six.

Modest spend: Speaking to MailOnline Karen Khatchik, who runs the store said: 'She bought lots of small items like craft-making, stickers, tattoos, they were things for a trip they have planned'

The threesome visited Toy Station in Richmond, a local shop they have visited before.

Speaking to MailOnline, Karen Khatchik, who runs the store with her husband and sister-in-law, said: 'She bought lots of small items like craft-making, stickers, tattoos, they were things for a trip they have planned.'

But while Jolie and beau Brad could afford to buy the entire stock in the shop Karen said the mother-of-six spent no more than her other customers.

Lovely girls: The shop owner said that the girls were very chatty and animated as they looked at the items in the shop

Mrs Khatchik said: 'Angelina was so nice, she shook hands with me and she gave me a birthday card after I revealed it was our 15th anniversary.'

'The family came to the shop before and Angelina said they really liked it here and the children wanted to come back.

Thoughtful gesture: Angelina wrote a card for the shop owner Karen after she told her it was their fifteenth anniversary at the shop

Local haunt: The famous family visited The Toy Station in Richmond earlier today, their second visit to the local shop

And speaking of the two little girls Karen told MailOnline: 'They are lovely children, chatting to me and they were telling me a lot about what characters they liked and didn't like.'

The trip to the toy store comes just a day after the girls, along with their brothers Maddox, 10, Pax, seven, enjoyed a trip to watch Shrek The Musical at the Drury Lane theatre.

Family treat: Angelina took her four oldest children to see Shrek The Musical in London yesterday

All lined up: The family made their way out of the theatre with Maddox ahead of Shiloh and Zahara and Angelina at the back

Brad Pitt was absent from the party as were the couple’s youngest children, three-year-old twins Knox and Vivienne.

On Saturday the A-list couple were seen with their three youngest children who they treated to a performance of The Three Little Pigs And The Wolf at the Puppet Theatre Barge.

Girls together: As the female members of the family left the theatre Shiloh couldn't resist sticking her tongue out at the crowd

Centre of attention: The family caused a stir at the theatre and a crowd had gathered to see them leave

The A-list elite are on UK shores in Surrey while the Fight Club actor shoots his latest film World War Z.

As the name suggests, the unique 50-seat auditorium floats on water.

The shows are aimed at children and adults, with the boat moored in Little Venice throughout the year and in Richmond during the summer.

In you go: Angelina helped each one of her children into the van after the performance of Shrek the Musical

Chic style: The actress wore an all-black ensemble for the outing with four of her children while Brad and her twins Knox and Vivienne did not attend the theatre trip

The family have taken full advantage of their time across the Atlantic in the UK, with various shopping trips, a trip to the West End to see the musical Wicked and even a visit to the rather unglamorous Halfords.

It was rumoured that Maddox was set to make his film debut in a Battling Boy, a film produced by his father, but a spokesperson has just denied it.

Day out: Brad and Angelina take their brood to The Puppet Theatre Barge in Surrey where they are staying while the Fight Club star films World War Z

Happy families: Shiloh plays ahead of her parents as they keep the youngest of the brood close to them

All aboard: Brangelina keep a watchful eye on the kids so they don't fall overboard

Not exactly the red carpet: Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt visit Halfords in Isleworth with three of their children

Can't we go to the park? Maddox, Zahara and Pax don't look too happy to be dragged around the shops

From the high life to Halfords! Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt take their brood to the bike store

By DAILY MAIL REPORTER

Family day out: Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt took Zahara, Pax, Maddox and Shiloh to Halfords in Isleworth, London

She might have been living the high life yesterday by flying around London in a helicopter, but today Angelina Jolie was living the simple life with her brood by taking them to Halfords.

The Tomb Raider actress, 36, also swapped her trademark black for an all-white ensemble as she and Brad Pitt took four of their six children to the bike shop in Isleworth, west London.

The Hollywood parents were spotted strolling out of the store with Maddox, 10, Pax, seven, Zahara, six and Shiloh, five.

Thanks for coming! The Hollywood actors shocked the Halfords' staff and local shopper with their A-list appearance

After the family perused the cycle accessory aisle this morning, they quickly jumped back into their silver people carrier.

During the family’s time in the UK, Angelina has been making numerous trips to local stores with her children, including a florist in Twickenham, a Pottery CafĂ© in Richmond and even London’s West End to watch the musical Wicked.

Come on kids! The parents loaded four of their six children back into the silver people carrier after the shopping trip

But yesterday she had a day off from her mummy-duties, by taking a quick trip out of the capital in a chopper.

She looked ecstatic as she took off and was later dropped back in Richmond, where the family are currently renting a home.

Helping hand: Doting daddy Brad Pitt helped Pax into the car safely

The Jolie-Pitts have relocated to the UK over summer while Brad, 47, shoots his latest film World War Z.

But even though Angelina hasn’t been working while Brad is on set – to care for their brood – she recently said she’s not about to give up her action roles on screen.

She said in an interview: ‘The funny thing about having children is that now I am twice as motivated to do a cool stunt because my kids will like it.

‘I’m very responsible these days not to be self-destructive because of my kids, but at the same time I have all the more reason to do all the cool things possible because I want to try and make my kids proud.’

Special guests: You wouldn't expect to find a couple of Hollywood stars in the Halfords' car park, but the Jolie-Pitts were keen for some cycling accessories

'Jennifer Aniston threw Brad Pitt out after he confessed his love for Angelina Jolie': New book lifts lid on split of the century

By Daily Mail Reporter

So happy: Brad and Jennifer at the Cannes premiere of Troy in May 2004, a year later they were heading to divorce

Jennifer Aniston ordered Brad Pitt to leave their Beverly Hills home after he admitted that he was in love with Angelina Jolie, according to a sensational new book.

Arnon Milchan, who produced Mr and Mrs Smith, makes the revelation in a book about his life as a producer and businessman tied to the arms trade, which is entitled Confidential: The Life of Secret Agent Turned Hollywood Tycoon.

He recalls how he originally cast Pitt and Nicole Kidman as the married spy couple in his film but that Brad pulled out of the project due to a lack of chemistry between himself and the flame-haired Australian.

Milchan also insists that Pitt was already infatuated with Jolie as immediately after he cast Angelina as the female lead, Brad called him to say he was happy to play Mr to her Mrs.

The rest, as they say, is history, and the writing was on the wall for the Friends sweetheart, who married Pitt in Malibu in 2000.

She filed for divorce in March 2005, apparently after seeing pictures of Brad, Angelina and Maddox on a beach in Kenya.

But it was a tumultuous few months of rumours and denials before she reached that point.

He recounts: 'At first, Jen didn't believe he was involved with Angelina. She started asking around but no one would tell her anything because they were loyal to Brad, so she asked him point blank. He denied it.'

Still going: Brad with new love Angelina at the Golden Globes in February this year

Chemistry: The promo for Mr and Mrs Smith, the film that brought the couple together

Brad and Jennifer then went to the Caribbean with best friends Courteney Cox and David Arquette on a pre-planned trip to celebrate New Years, 2005, but the strain was too much and Brad confessed.

'He eventually admitted he was in love with Angelina. Jen was furious and threw him out,' authors Meir Doran and Joseph Gelman write.

Brad only returned to the lavish home the couple designed together to collect some belongings before moving into Milchan's L.A. home.

'Brad drove each day to the set, and everywhere else, on a motorcycle and he wore a wraparound helmet with a tinted visor so no one would recognize him. He stayed with me for the duration of filming,' Milchan is quoted as saying.

On January 7, 2005, the pair announced their split, but when Brad joined Jennifer for her birthday in February, the rumour mill went into overdrive with talk about their reconciliation.

The trip to Africa put paid to that and Brangelina was born that Summer.

Six children were to follow, and the couple remain together while Jennifer has found love at last with actor Justin Theroux.

A Wicked day out! Brad and Angelina take spellbound brood out to see West End musical Wicked for Maddox's 10th birthday

By Daily Mail Reporter

Celebration: Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie took Maddox (left) to see the stage musical Wicked in London today for his 10th birthday with Shiloh, Zahara and Pax also coming along for the afternoon out

It's been a wet and dull summer's day in London - so what better way to entertain your bored children in the holidays than an afternoon out at the theatre?

That was Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie's plan, as they took their brood out in London today to see the West End smash hit musical Wicked.

The family had clearly fallen under the production's spell too, and were seen beaming broadly as they left Victoria's Apollo Theatre to get a car back to their base in Richmond.

Fun day out: The family had been to Victoria's Apollo Theatre for the matinee performance

Daughter Shiloh, five, in particular seemed smitten by the show, and left clutching a cute winged monkey, a stuffed toy version of one of the show's fantastical characters.

She and Maddox were joined by sister Zahara, six, and Pax, seven with three-year-old twins Knox and Vivienne deemed a bit too young for the afternoon's entertainment.

Angelina, 36, looked rather dressed up considering it was the middle of the afternoon, and was stunning in a classic LBD and nude heels

Brad, 47, however was far more casual in a dark indigo shirt, denim jeans and black boots.

He had taken some time out from filming his latest movie World War Z in London to join his family for the matinee performance.

Angelina certainly wants to make sure her children are seeing all the sights London has to offer, and last week, took them to the city's Aquarium while Brad was busy.

Hands on: Brad and Angelina were beaming as they herded their happy brood to a waiting car

Daddy duty: Brad is currently in the UK filming World War Z but took time out of his filming schedule to go out with his family

The cast members were said to be delighted to have the famous family come to see their Wizard of Oz themed show.

'There was definitely a big excitement backstage! Everyone was on a high,' a Wicked cast member told Us Weekly.

The family did not sit in a VIP box but sat in the orchestra area and were surrounded by a few empty, reserved seats to maintain their privacy.

Hollywood in town: Waiting fans could not wait to catch a glimpse of the A-List stars

'They were very happy and quite quiet,' the cast member said of the Jolie-Pitts. 'The children seemed fascinated by the spectacle.'

The family are currently living in Richmond, west London, renting a lavish £10million home while Brad finishes filming .

Oscar winner Sandra Bullock is living just around the corner, while George Clooney has only just moved out of the neighbourhood.

Daddy's little girl: Brad helped Zahara into the car by giving her a lift up as Angelina got in

Its location has turned the historic home into a mecca for stars of silver screen, who flock to rent it for an estimated £30,000 a month.

Among the big names who have quietly rented the fashion tycoon widow’s home are Pirates Of The Caribbean star Johnny Depp, 48, who lived there while filming in London.

Veteran actor Michael Douglas, 66, and his wife Catherine Zeta-Jones, 41 have also stayed at the house. Celebrity tenants appreciate the luxurious interior in an unassuming location just ten minutes from the film studios.

Day trippers: The Jolie-Pitt family enjoyed their afternoon at the theatre at the Apollo in Victoria

Angelina has already been seen popping into a toy shop in Richmond to buy her children presents, including water pistols and pretend money.

Brad is in the capital filming his new zombie movie, World War Z. He is also producing the film, an adaption of Max Brooks’s novel.
