She's Had 52 Cosmetic Procedures

Cindy Jackson Boasts Guinness World Record for Most Plastic Surgery

The woman who has had the most cosmetic surgeries in the world took to the "Good Morning America"airwaves today to show off her plain-Jane-to-Barbie transformation.

Citing 52 total plastic surgery procedures in all, 55-year-old Cindy Jackson holds the official World Guinness Record for the feat, a title she's had the bragging rights to since 2000. Totaling over $100,000 in costs, the Ohio native's surgeries have included five face lifts, liposuction to the stomach and knees, upper and lower eyelid lifts twice over and regular rounds of Botox.

Yet the author of "Living Doll" says that the world's spotlight wasn't in her sights when she first started out on the nip and tuck journey nearly 25 years ago.

"I didn't set out to set a world record, it was never my ambition," Jackson told ABC's Nick Watt.

After moving to London from Ohio in the late 1970s to work as a performer and photographer, Jackson began to explore cosmetic surgery with inheritance money her father had left upon his death in 1988.

Now a seasoned pro, Jackson makes a living as a cosmetic surgery consultant, charging the USD equivalent of about $570 for a private hour of time. She has also authored "Cindy Jackson's Image And Cosmetic Surgery Secrets."

With nearly every body part tightened, smoothed or sucked in, one wonders; is there anything Jackson hasn't had done?

Well, there was -- until now.

"I'd had everything done to look younger, to look better, and my hands were letting me down," said Jackson.

To camouflage the prominent veins and tendons on the back of her hands that Jackson felt were giving away her true age, she had them injected with a substance that stimulates collagen production. The resulting creation of sponge-like tissue that we all have in abundance during our youth left Jackson with refreshed hands.

Yet unlike celebrities Joan Rivers and Jocelyn Wildenstein who are as equally infamous for their under-the-knife habit, Jackson says that her ultimate goal is to look authentic.

"For me, the best result is one that looks natural. I wouldn't ever want anyone to stop and stare at me and say, 'That woman's had a lot of surgery.' I would never want to look like I've ever had anything done."

That judgment, of course, is for you to make or not to make.

But there is one surprising thing we've uncovered about Jackson; she's been a member of the Mensa International, The High IQ Society since 1977.

So either way you cut it, Barbie has brains.
